Difficulty: the tour takes place on easy trails with modest gradients, it is needed to be used to walk for some hours

Children: children love these places and this walk. However, they need to be used to walk for a few hours on non-challenging trails
During spring and summer, we love to spend nights with our friends, in the woods just outside downtown. After a hard day of work, we meet to enjoy the coolness of the woods watching the sunset from the hills and ending the night tasting some traditional food in a typical “baita” surrounded by trees. You will live this magic night with an extra special touch, the exclusive access to “Castello Baradello”. The 1500 yo tower that dominates Como city center is immersed in a unique natural setting, has an old history and an irresistible charm, in its rooms has hosted famous characters and has assisted as an absolute protagonist to incredible battles. Many legends are told about him and he witnessed mysterious events. It is located in a spectacular location. From the top of its high tower, the view over the city of Como and the Lake is breathtaking. When you reach the highest point you seem to fly suspended between history, enchanted nature, beauty, and legends. The Baradello Castle opens its doors exclusively for us, so we can admire it in a magical moment of the day, the Sunset, giving fascinating scenery and colors and strong emotions. We will continue the night, reaching a very special “baita” where enjoy simple but authentic food of the local tradition, which is difficult to find downtown. We’d like to share this peculiar ritual with you. We walk, we eat, we drink some wine and we chat; we socialize in the old fashion way… We will walk you on simple paths on the hills surrounding the city center where casual tourists are difficult to meet. These aren’t fancy places that you can find on the cover of tourism magazines, these are important places for us, because it’s where we spent our childhood and where we still go to chill with our friends and families. Finally, we will visit our favorite baita to enjoy some local delicacies.
