2 nights in Bracciano, 1 night in Civitavecchia, 3 nights in Bolsena, 1 night in Viterbo
Day 1 – Rome – Bracciano: Arrive at Rome airport and pick up of your rental car. Drive to Bracciano and overnight in hotel
Day 2 – Bracciano: Visit the Castle of Bracciano and the picturesque hilltop town of Sutri which has an archaeological park, amphitheater, the church of Madonna del Prato (which is built in a rock) and the Etruscan tombs. Overnight
Day 3 – Bracciano – Cerveteri – Civitavecchia: Drive towards the Latium Coast. On the way to Civitavecchia we recommend the visit of Cerveteri, known for its well-preserved necropolis complex, once part of an Etruscan city. The Banditaccia Necropolis is a series of pre-Roman tombs, some with fragments of wall paintings. Artifacts like urns and statues are displayed at the National Museum of Cerveteri, in the 16th-century Ruspoli Castle. The coastal Campo di Mare area has a black sand beach and water sports. Overnight
Day 4 – Civitavecchia – Bolsena: Drive to Bolsena with its stunning lake and also a visit to the South of Tuscany. On the way stop in Tarquinia, one of the most interesting and well known Etruscan excavations in the whole of Italy. These tombs and their unique paintings an UNESCO’s world heritage site. It is also nice to take a stroll through the well preserved medieval section of this town with its numerous soaring towers. Overnight
Day 5 – Bolsena: Day to relax. We recommend here the visits to the Etruscan towns of Sorano and Pitigliano. These small hilltop towns seem to rise out of the rocks and offer magical views of the area. Have a wander through the alleys where you will feel like you’ve stepped back to medieval times. In the evening “Typical dining experience with cooking demo” (included).
Day 6 – Bolsena (Orvieto): Drive to Orvieto located in the South West of Umbria. Walking tour and visit of the Duomo (included). The whole of the medieval section of this town is built on a plateau of rocks. Just underneath the town there are numerous Etruscan tombs which hold a maze of cellars, corridors and huge cisterns. These can be partially visited. Overnight
Day 7 – Bolsena – Viterbo: Driving back south, the program foresee a stop in Viterbo. The historical part of this town is known as one of the best preserved medieval towns in central Italy. Overnight.
Day 8 – Viterbo – Rome: Drive to Rome airport to return your rental car and depart on your flight

The type of car is quoted based on the number of passengers, just keep in mind that car models in Europe are smaller than the one in US. It is recommended if more than 3 people to verify with our office the size of the car available. When needed car rental can be booked “one-way”, please verify with ur office the supplement for the drop off.
