5 days/4 nights itinerary from FLORENCE
Day 1: Florence – Suvereto
Pick up in Florence in the morning and private transfer service. Our first stop will be the beautiful little village of Vinci. Situated on the slopes of Montalbano, Vinci is a well-preserved medieval town that’s known internationally for being the birthplace of the great genius of the Italian Renaissance, Leonardo Da Vinci. Even today, the life of the town revolves around the multi-talented Renaissance figure with the town itself a kind of widespread museum dedicated to the genius.
We’ll have a little tour and coffee before visiting the museum of Leonardo da Vinci and spend the morning in this splendid location.
Lunch will be held in Vinci and then we’ll be driven towards Suvereto where we should arrive by 3.30 pm
We check in at a local Relais Sant’Elena where we will enjoy an aperitif and welcome dinner.

Day 2: Bolgheri discovery and Etruscan day
This morning, after breakfast, we meet our local driver for a special wine day tour experience aimed at letting you discover the outstanding destination of Bolgheri. We’ll start with Giorgio Meletti Cavallari, among the most important and iconic wineries in the area, before joining a wine tasting and lunch at Campo alle Comete!
On the way back to Suvereto, we’ll stop at Tenuta Casadei, a biodynamic winery that will be the perfect conclusion for our wine day discovering Bolgheri and Suvereto!
Overnight: Relais Sant’Elena
Day 3: Follonica, Maremma & Montalcino
Today, after check out, we depart with our driver towards Montalcino. On the way to the land of the Brunello, we stop by in Follonica and Gavorrano to visit these 2 beautiful villages before reaching Tenuta Fertuna where we’ll stop for lunch and wine tasting. Then we drive towards Montalcino where we’ll stop for the next 2 days. We’ll check in at a beautiful Castle and Relais where we’ll enjoy wine tasting and dinner.

Day 4: Val d’Orcia
Today, after breakfast we start moving towards Montepulciano. On the way we’ll be driving along the most scenic tuscan road and we’ll stop for pictures and breathtaking views before arriving in Pienza. Here we’ll taste local cheese and visit the beautiful village. Then we reach Terra Antica, among our favorite boutique wineries where Sofia and Mario will host in the typical tuscan welcoming atmosphere!
In the afternoon we get back to Montalcino for relaxing and dinner on own.

Day 5: Departure
We check out and move north towards Florence. If the time allows it, we’ll be able to stop in Siena for visit and light lunch. Back to Florence in the afternoon!
