3 days/2 nights itinerary from CATANIA
Day 1: Catania – Ragusa
Pick up in Catania and transfer towards Ragusa. On our way from Catania we stop in Siracusa and Ortigia for a private tour of the city center and a coffee. We continue towards Noto where we stop for lunch and then Modica for a chocolate discovery and then we reach Baglio Occhipinti wine relais where we’ll stay for the next 2 days!
At our arrival we have a welcome drink and dinner.

Day 2: Relax and wine day tour
Today we go visit 2 wineries (Cos and Poggio di Bortolone), before ending back to the Occhipinti Estate for relaxing and dinner
Cos winery Three friends founded Azienda Agricola COS, in 1980: Giambattista Cilia, Cirino Strano and Giusto Occhipinti. The acronym of their last names is where the name for the winery – COS – comes from. This family style approach will be perceived perfectly during your wine tasting with 3 different labels.
At Poggio di Bortolone you will enjoy a guided visit to the vineyards and olive groves of the estate with a particular attention also to the wildlife and wild flora of south-eastern Sicily. You will then visit the winery and discover the secrets of the company’s making process, before tasting 4 wines (1 rosé and 3 red) paired with local cold cuts and cheese, plus the home made olive oil. A perfect moment to discover the soul of this amazing region!
At the end of the tour, by 3 pm you’ll get back to the Relais for relaxing and dinner.
