 Formed as a stunning result of the last glaciation, the enchanting attractiveness of Lake Garda has enraptured all its visitors even beginning in 1786 with Wolfgang Goethe, its first illustrious tourist and promoter. Alpine atmosphere, colors and flavors unique of the Mediterranean will follow you on your bike tour through medieval villages and castles, along the streets of some famous Italian art cities, until reaching the Euganean hills and their renowned thermal district, the largest in Europe

Day 1 – Desenzano/Peschiera del Garda

Free arrival in Desenzano//Peschiera del Garda. Overnight

Day 2 –  Desenzano/Peschiera โ€“ Verona (60/35 km)

Today you head to Verona. With the river Adige crossing it, this is one of the most important and beautiful cities in the Veneto region. Worth visiting are: the Roman Arena, the Church of San Zeno and Julietโ€™s House. Overnight.

Day 3 –  Verona โ€“ Illasi/Soave (30/40 km)

The stage is flat and relaxing, crossing beautiful vineyards and the countryside. Your cycle route will join the โ€œStrada del Vinoโ€ (wine road) that leads to Illasi/
Soave, a very famous area full of vineyards and nice medieval sights. Overnight.

Day 4 –  Illasi/Soave โ€“ Vicenza (50/40 km)

At first, the route starts out flat and then heads through the Colli Berici, a hilly region just south of Vicenza, with a wonderful view of the city. The old city centre is characterized by the beautiful private palaces and public buildings by Andrea Palladio, the famous 16th century architect known all over the world. Overnight

Day 5 –   Vicenza โ€“ Padua thermal district (50 km)

Cycling out of Vicenza, along the cycle path of the river Bacchiglione, you can admire the Palladian masterpiece Villa La Rotonda. Then, past the hamlet of Montegalda, you will head towards the Euganean Hills, where you can relax in a resort of the largest European thermal district. Overnight

Day 6 –  Padua thermal district โ€“ Mestre/Venice (55 km)

Along the cycle path of the Battaglia Canal you will pass through Padua, home to one of the oldest Italian (and European) universities and rich in art and history.
From here, along the Piovego Canal, you will reach Stra and will follow the Brenta Canal, overlooked by the countryside villas of the ancient Venetian nobility (Villa
Pisani, Villa Malcontenta, Villa Widmann) until you reach Mestre, Venice mainland. Free transfer to the hotel in Venice. Overnight

Day 7 –  Venice

Day at disposal to visit the city. We can book visits or activities. Overnight

Day 8 – Venice/departure

Private transfer to the train station or airport and end of the tour (or proceed with your Italian trip)
