TURIN – LANGE REGION ( 8 days/7 nights)
3 nights in Turin, 3 nights in Pollenzo, 1 night in Turin
Day 1 – Turin: Arrive at Turin airport and pick up of your rental car. Drive to hotel and overnight in hotel
Day 2 – Turin: In the morning guided walking tour of the city center (included) and in the afternoon visit of the Royal Palace including the Shroud Chapel (included). Overnight
Day 3 – Turin (Venaria): Drive to Venaria Reale. There you will visit Baroque Reggia di Venaria which is one of the most significant examples of architecture and art in the 17th And 18th centuries (Unesco Site). In the evening “Typical dining experience with cooking demo” (included). Overnight.
Day 4 – Turin – Asti – Langa Astigiana – Pollenzo: Depart for Asti. Have a quick tour of the city of Palio. Afterwards we suggest some wine tasting in the area famous for it’s sparkling wines Asti Spumante and Moscato d’Asti and red wines Barbera d’Asti, Dolcetto d’Asti and Brachetto d’Asti. In the afternoon depart for Langa Astigiana where you can admire the beautiful hills and its vineyards. Continue to Pollenzo . Overnight.
Day 5 – Pollenzo (Racconigi): Drive to Racconigi. Visit the castle, which is one of the residences of the Royal House of Savoy (Unesco Site). In the afternoon return to Pollenzo where you can visit the Bank of Wine. An enchanting showcase of the most famous wines in the Langa region. Overnight.
Day 6 – Pollenzo (Grinzane Cavour – Alba): Drive to the Langhe region, famous for Barolo and Barbaresco wines. In the morning visit Grinzane Cavour with its’ medieval manor house which looks over the village below and holds the Regional Wine Exhibition Centre, a well-known attraction. Continue onto Alba which is often known as the city with one hundred towers. Alba is the capital of the region and is known worldwide for its wines and prestigious white truffles. In the afternoon depart for Barbaresco. You could also visit Barbaresco Wine Exhibition and Promotion Centre. After the visit you can drive to the town of Nieve for a visit to it’s wonderful baroque centre. Overnight.
Day 7 – Pollenzo – Serralunga – Barolo – Torino: Drive to Serralunga where you can visit the castle with its stunning fortified gothic architecture. In the afternoon travel to Barolo to visit the Marchesi di Barolo wine cellar where you can enjoy some wine tasting. The visit of the area ends at La Morra with its stunning panoramic view of the 11 villages which produce Barolo wine. Depart to Torino and overnight.
Day 8 – Turin: Drive to the airport to return your rental car and depart on your flight

CAR RENTAL, ACTIVITIES & TOURS
The type of car is quoted based on the number of passengers, just keep in mind that car models in Europe are smaller than the one in US. It is recommended if more than 3 people to verify with our office the size of the car available. When needed car rental can be booked “one-way”, please verify with ur office the supplement for the drop off.
