Italian Jewels on the sea – 40 spectacular villages on the Mediterranean Sea

Suspended on rocks, surrounded by green, inย white stones or colorful houses, different but all fascinating. These are the “borghi” on the sea, pearl of Italy’s best.

From Liguria to Tuscany to Sicily, tens of little villages, of ancient flavor, perched on cliffs over the blue waters; once inhabited only by fishermen but now tourist destination for the travelers in search of coziness.

There are the CinqueTerre, Otranto in Puglia, Bosa in Sardinia, some of them so fascinating to be chosen by Unesco as World Heritage Site
