Accessible Italy: Naples, Amalfi Coast & Capri

1 day – Naples

Arrival in Naples and meeting with our tour guide. Transfer from the airport to the hotel in the city center, by wheelchair accessible bus.
In late afternoon, transfer by minivan for a guided walk on the beautiful promenade overlooking Vesuvius, Castel dell’Ovo and along the Riviera di Chiaia. Welcome appetizer. Dinner at a place on the boardwalk.

2 day – Naples

Transfer to the historic center of Naples: with your guide you will walk from Piazza del Gesù along the famous Via Spaccanapoli, you will visit the church of Santa Chiara and the beautiful monastery. Lunch is served to try the typical Neapolitan specialties of ‘street food’ and Neapolitan desserts at a traditional local pizzeria.
In the afternoon you will visit the museum with the Veiled Christ, the street of San Gregorio Armeno, where there are many shops “Botteghe” where the cribs are made with cribs. Here the tradition is very old and you can also buy the famous statues representing the nativity and the shepherds. Finally we will visit the cathedral of San Gennaro, patron saint of the city and famous for the miracle of the liquefaction of blood kept in a shrine.

3 day – Naples (Amalfi Coast)

Accessible minivan ride on the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Full day excursion with our guide. You will enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and the village of Positano (from above). At lunch you will eat the real caprese salad and the typical local dessert “Lemon Delight”. Here the huge lemon trees bloom and from which the famous limoncello is produced.. During the day you will visit the small pearl Amalfi (of the fourth century BC) and its cathedral. Transfer to the village of Ravello, known for its many lush villas. Transfer to the village of Vietri, along a coastal path that offers unforgettable panoramic views of the sea where visitors can buy the famous colored objects in ceramics and majolica. In late afternoon return to Naples. 

4 day – Naples (Sorrento)

Transfer by minivan accessible to Sorrento, in front of the island of Capri and with the wonderful view of the Villa Comunale on the high coast of Sorrento. Along Corso Italia, from Piazza Tasso you will visit some accessible churches and cloisters. Then you will learn how to prepare limoncello liqueur from giant lemons. Lunch with main dish and fruit or dessert. Free time for shopping and walking.
Return to Naples in the afternoon. 

5 day – Naples (Pompeii)

In the morning, accessible minivan transfer to Pompeii, one of the most important archaeological settlements in Italy. The guided tour of the city will last about 2 and a half hours. Transfer to Naples and we will take part in a cooking class to discover the secrets of the Original Neapolitan Pizza. Bon Appetito! Return to the hotel.

6 day – Naples (Capri Island)

Before the end of the trip you can not miss the island of Capri. Day trip with tour guide and wheelchair-accessible minivan transport to Capri by ferry. We will reach the highest point of the island, Anacapri, and we will have a breathtaking view from the viewpoint “Migliera” or from Villa Alex Munte; you can visit the church of San Michele and then drink a real Italian coffee or cappuccino. Then we will go down to the famous “piazzetta di Capri”; we will walk through its center of the port with the many shops and bars, and we will have the opportunity to enjoy a delicious ice cream at the “Gelateria Buonocore”. Along the shopping street, we will reach the panoramic terrace from which you can see the famous Faraglioni. In the afternoon return to Naples.

9 day – Departure

Private transfer to the airport for departure.
