TURIN & LANGHE TOUR

(6 days – 5 nights)

1 day – Turin

Transfer from airport / station to the hotel. In the afternoon, visit the Egyptian Museum, a fascinating journey through mummies, sarcophagi and extraordinary finds. Egyptian Antiquities Museum is a real highlight of the city, being the most important in Europe and the second largest in the world after that of Cairo. The visit is fully accessible for the physically disabled. The structure also has a sensory path available with a guided tour. Free time to visit the city.

2 day – Turin

Meeting with the guide who will accompany you throughout the day. Visit of the Royal Palace of Venaria, the residence of the Savoy family who inspired the project of the Palace of Versailles. The palace is fully accessible in all its glory. In case of need, some outdoor wheelchairs are available free of charge at the reception, allowing access to the gardens, for which an aid is still recommended. In addition, in some periods the visit of the gardens is available via a horse-drawn vehicle, available for a small surcharge. Lunch with a typical Piedmontese menu. In the afternoon, guided tour of the city, with a visit to the Basilica della Consolata Sanctuary and the Royal Church of San Lorenzo, two of the most significant religious monuments in the city. The tour includes a “sweet break” to be spent with one of Turin’s great loves: chocolate. To enjoy it in the best way you can choose between two possibilities: Stop in a historic café in the center with tasting of the “Bicerin”, the typical chocolate-based drink accompanied by biscuits dear to the Count of Cavour; Stop with tasting in a chocolate production workshop.

3 day – Turin

Transfer to the Sacra di San Michele. Visit of the monastery, one of the most representative religious monuments in all of Piedmont, a crucial point on the pilgrimage route that connects Mont Saint-Michel, in Normandy, with Monte Sant’Angelo, in Puglia. The visit is fully accessible for people with motor disabilities. Return to Turin and visit Eataly, the large food and wine market dedicated to high quality products. Free time for the visit, free lunch and any purchases. Return to the hotel and free afternoon for visits and shopping. Alternatively, it is possible to plan a visit to the National Automobile Museum. The recently renovated museum is easily and completely accessible to all. The exhibition itinerary tells not only the history and evolution of the automobile but also the social issues linked to it, through spectacular displays that showcase the precious pieces of the collection.

4 day – Turin – Langhe

Visit of the Mole Antonelliana, symbol of the city and seat of the National Cinema Museum. Among exhibits, evocative settings and projections, the museum reconstructs the history of cinema from the dawn to today, in the heart of the city where the Italian film industry was born more than a century ago. The museum is fully accessible and is equipped with a sensory tour. In the afternoon transfer to the Langhe. Check-in. Visit to the Pollenzo Wine Bank. The visit of the ancient nineteenth-century cellar is completely accessible and can be integrated with a tasting itinerary and / or educational workshops. Return to the hotel.

6 day – Langhe

Transfer to Alba. Guided tour of the city through an accessible itinerary. Lunch with a typical menu. Transfer to Barolo, the heart of the production of the king of Piedmontese wines. Visit the Wine Museum, the wine museum set up inside the Castle of the Falletti marquises. The tour takes place through a multisensory experience, created by plays of light, frescoes, stories and multimedia panels. Return to the hotel and free time.

6 day – Langhe – Turin/departure

Transfer to Turin airport or train station for departure
