3 hours panoramic tour of Rome to together with the guide / driver, we will visit some of the most famous and picturesque local markets of Rome, to discover and taste the excellence of the typical Roman cuisine. Many have existed for centuries and the vendors have inherited their trade from parents. We will visit the Campo de’ Fiori market, the “granddaddy of Rome’s markets” since the 19th century, and the area between the famous Via Giulia and Piazza Farnese; proceed to the Testaccio district, the most authentic in Rome. The ancient site of the slaughterhouse hosts, today, the MACRO, Museum of Contemporary Art. Opposite there is the Street Market, the most famous in Rome and the city’s gastronomic hub. Everything is sold here: from fresh vegetables to pasta, ready-to-eat regional delicacies, tripe sandwiches and stuffed cannoli to order. Possibility to taste all the local specialties and sit down for a characteristic quick lunch (no drink or snack or meal is included). Pick up: from downtown hotel only
