Pigna’s white bean and the IMPERIA lavender are two important elements for local gastronomy combined with other spontaneous aromatic herbs.
Marco Bolognesi, owner of the farm, will accompany you on this educational path. Pigna’s white bean has been present in the territories of Pigna, Buggio and Castelvittorio for over 300 years. The cultivated fields are located in the areas called, in dialect, “abrigu”, that is exposed to the sun, where the hills have a sweet conformation perfect for this cultivation.
As for lavender, you will discover the types within the “Lavender of the Riviera dei Fiori” project, how the essential oil is obtained.
